Every game during the regular CSC Competition (including Finals) that Kingsway participates in, all spectators and players present on the ground, on matchday will be given the opportunity to nominate their choice of three players from that game that in their opinion, played the best. Anyone wishing to nominate, must collect a personal and unique Identification Number from Tim Robertson at the ground immediately following the conclusion of the game. Only one identification number will be given to each person and identification numbers cannot be collected on behalf of someone else. Each identification number is different, making it sort of your personal password for nominating. Without it, you cannot nominate. Once the person has collected the identification number and selected the three players believed to have played the best, he/she must log on to the Kingsway Crusaders Official Website and click on the "Player of the Year Nominations." They then must enter their name, personal identification number and the three players they wish to nominate in order of best, second best and third best. They then must click submit and their order will be processed.

Nominations will be calculated on an AFL Best and Fairest Award like 3, 2, 1 basis with the player they nominated as the best accredited 3 points, the player they nominated as second best accredited 2 points and the player they believe played the third best accreditied one point. All nominations must be submitted before 6:00pm on the Saturday following the game. After this deadline, no more nominations will be accepted. After the deadline closes, all nominations will be tallyed up and the player wish the most amount of points accredited to his name will be declared "People's Best on Ground" for that game and his name posted on the Kingsway Crusaders Official Website.

This process will occur for every game that Kingsway plays throughout the regular season. Once the season has been completed, all the points from all the games will be added up and the player with the most amount of points will be declared "Player of the Year." The winner of this award will be announced at an assembly later in the year and will recieve his trophy there.

NB: It is VERY important to understand that the identification number you collect is valid only for the game in which you got it at! Should you wish to nominate another set of 3 players in a different game, you will have to attend the ground on matchday and collect another (and different) number from Tim Robertson.
